Monthly report for February 2003 by Christian A. Hummel: The paper on Eta Virginis observations with NPOI was accepted by AJ. Hummel prepared a status report with recommendations on the calibration of the NPOI 6-station data. He reduced data taken in December and obtained images of two V=4.6 binaries using the data of just one scan on each star. Hummel attended the IAU colloquium 191 in Merida, Mexico, and gave a talk on the NPOI observations of Eta Virginis. He prepared and submitted his proceedings manuscript to the Editorial Board. Hummel added coordinates of a suitable back ground field location to the output of the scheduling software, which is to replace the current procedure which, though probably rare, could accidentally measure the back ground with a field star in it.
