Monthly report for March 2001 by Christian A. Hummel: The paper on NPOI observations of limb-darkened stellar disks by M. Wittkowski, on which C. Hummel is a co-author, has been accepted by A&A provided some significant changes will be made in some sections. Hummel provided input for answers regarding some of the questions the referee had. Hummel worked on the common data format for optical interferometry data which is based on FITS, and in the course of this further improved and tested the FITS writer software in OYSTER. Hummel reduced several nights of astrometry observations. He wrote code which utilizes the total astrometric constant term solutions to separate station and delay line based contributions for updating the configuration files. The astrometry observing list is based on a new script which automatically selects bright single stars and optimizes the uniformity of the sky coverage.
