Monthly report for March 2003 by Christian A. Hummel: Hummel implemented a procedure in the NPOI photometry analysis to account for the APD non-linearity as measured a few months ago. The inconsistencies in the photometric scans are only for the brightest stars. He also correlated the total NAT and white light spectrometer counts and found considerable scatter in some recent nights. Hummel spend some time answering questions from our Japanese visitor at NPOI related to NPOI data reduction. Hummel updated the orbit of Zeta Orionis with the new 6-station data obtained last December. Together with Jim Benson, Hummel analysed test observations with the new constant term metrology system.
