Monthly report for November 2001 by Christian A. Hummel: Hummel implemented sub-array capability into the NPOI data reduction software OYSTER. This is related to observing strategies with the new 6-way configuration. Hummel tested the (now sub-array aware) bias correction of the data, and implemented a photometric beam calibration algorithm. Hummel also wrote a raw data file navigator to assist in direct-access debugging and visualization of NPOI raw data. The most important packet types have been implemented in the viewer. The viewer also provides a quick overview of the scan structure of single night NPOI raw data. Updates to the software manual have been performed to account for the increased complexity of the NPOI reduction of 6-way data. Hummel analysed some 10 nights of data and summarized results in a web page, which was sent to Benson and Mozurkewich for reference.
