Monthly report for September 2000 by Christian A. Hummel: Hummel assembled a web page explaining his new dispersion correction code and containing examples from the astrometry data reduction. Hummel continued investigation into NPOI calibration issues, and found a new seeing index which is correlated better with the raw visibilities than the old one. Hummel compiled a new calibrator list for NPOI, which now adds Hipparcos C (< 5 arcsec.) and O solutions to the Batten catalog spectroscopic binaries for stars not to be used as calibrators. Hummel implemented tools in the NPOI data reduction software OYSTER facilitating the determination of bias corrections, which are becoming more standard for observations of resolved stars.
