Software structure

Components

The PDS software consists of the following components

  • ICS OCS: syssup, ocm and dpm.

  • FCS:
    • AQGC: FCS for the VIS DCS.

    • CBR: FCS for the Central Beam Relay.

    • HACS: FCS for housekeeping and cooling system.

    • MAICAL: FCS for the calibration system.

    • PYR: FCS for Pyramid DCS.

    • SHAO: FCS for SHAO DCS.

    • SHAPS: FCS for SHAPS DCS.

    • ZIRCAM: FCS for ZIRCAM DCS.

  • DCS:
    • AQGC: Andor marana camara.

    • PYR: freda camera.

    • SHAO: Lisa camera.

    • SHAPS: Andor balor camera.

    • ZIRCAM: H2RG camera.

Interfaces

The PDS exposes the standard DCS and ICS interfaces and interfaces as well with CCS.

Deployment

The PDS component will be deployed on different nodes: one for the ICS, 3 for SHAO, FREDA and ZIRCAM DCS, 2 frame grabber boxes for AQGC and SHAPS.
