  to ISAAC).

* [1635] Application Server sockets are now created in a controlled
  way, not to interfere with ESO's firewall.

* [1575] Fixed bug: an instruments's summary.idx file was corrupted
  (null) in the case all templates failed.

* [1566] Fixed bug: an SQL exception was thrown if an invalid
  declination (like 90:01) was used for querying the repository.

* [1607] Fixed bug: misleading error message "grep: can't open
  config/site.cf" doesn't appear any more.

* [1656] Fixed bug: RepositoryBrowser: entering a non-numeric value
  in a numeric field, like UserID or QueueID, was causing the tool to
  "freeze".

* [1086] Fixed bug: p2pp-appserver.sh script was sometimes failing to
  kill running processes.

* [1576,1579] Fixed bug: File->RefreshObjectTargetData was working on
  checked-in OBs and CBs.

* [1692] "Wrong password" error message was improved.

* [1676] Fixed bug: DEC value "89:59:59.999" was rejected.

* [1342,1487] The (internal) handling of configuration information was
  completely reviewed. It is now much easier to add configuration file
  items. Defined standard configuration file for log messages (only
  meaningful with '-debug- and '-info' command line options).

* Introduced support for configurable message logging (as opposed to
  print statements in the code).

* User-invisible infrastructure changes; GUI improvements.

* This version of P2PP does not deal in a completely safe way with
  cases where an OB is created with one version of an Instrument
  Package, and reviewed with a different version -- this is known as
  the 'IP versioning' problem.

  A specific consequence: execution times will not be computed
  correctly if constant parameters have changed; i.e., parameters with
  a "VALUE" TSF keyword.

* [1515] This version of P2PP will report an obscure error message in
  the rare case an OB was queued for execution, but its status is
  still "Defined". The message is something like ""Dependant foreign
  key constraint violation..." -- if this happens, please contact the
  User Support Group (usg@eso.org).

* In P2PP or OT one may have noticed the occational stack trace when
  changing user and/or exiting windows.
  The stack trace appears as follows:
  java.lang.NullPointerException
    at javax.swing.KeyboardManager.unregisterMenuBar(KeyboardManager.java:312)
    at javax.swing.JMenuBar.removeNotify(JMenuBar.java:647)
    at java.awt.Container.removeNotify(Container.java:1260)
    at javax.swing.JComponent.removeNotify(JComponent.java:3186)

  This bug is a Swing bug, which was fixed in Jan 1999, available from
  Java 1.2 onwards. It has no effect on the operation of the P2PP or
  OT applications.

* [1632] When editing a "keywordlist" parameter, a keywordlist input
  box is opened. If the OB view window is closed from the window
  manager, P2PP will "freeze" and can only be terminated by killing
  it. 
  Users should take care to close the input box before closing the OB
  view.
