P2PP V.1.3.5p1 installation instructions

Installing patch 1 for P2PP 1.3.5

WARNING: Patch 1 can only be installed on top of a complete P2PP V.1.3.5 installation, or on top of a previous V.1.3.5 patch.
  1. Change directory to where P2PP V.1.3.5 is installed:

    cd $P2PP

  2. Retrieve the P2PP V.1.3.5p1 delivery package

  3. At this point you should a gzipped tar file in your $P2PP directory. Execute:

    gunzip -c p2pp-patch-1.3.5p1.tar.gz | tar xovf -

    This will install all the patch files on top of the existing installation.

  4. At this point you may remove the gzipped tar file.

Running P2PP V.1.3.5p1

To run P2PP V.1.3.5p1 you don't need to do anything special: the next time you start P2PP you'll be running the patched version.
