profiling - this is a multi-stop process that is done from the command prompt.

compile with profiling enabled under project/settings/link

from the subdir where all the prog files live, turn on profiling with
prep ccloudy.exe
this creates lots of ccloudy.* files

execute code with
profile ccloudy < commands.in
creates ccloudy.pbo file

prep /m ccloudy
creates ccloudy.pbt file

plist /options ccloudy > ccloudy.lst creates output a person can read

all this is in the runprof.bat file in  the debug subdir

-pedantic turns on lots of flags

-Wall lesser form of warnings

-v tells which version of the compiler

to profile, put -pg on both compile and link
