size, doabs Place a CLEAN window around the brightest pixel in the residual map. EXAMPLE ------- 0>peakwin Added new window around map position (2, -2). 0> PARAMETERS ---------- size - Default = 1.0 The relative size of the clean window with respect to the aspect of the clean beam. doabs - Default = false By default the clean window will be placed around the pixel with the maximum flux. However, if doabs=true then the clean window will be placed around the pixel with the maximum absolute value in the map. The latter could be useful for spectral line mapping of absorption features. CONTEXT ------- This command is provided as a primitive for automatic mapping scripts, where CLEAN windows need to be set non-interactively. The command looks at the position of the brightest pixel in the residual map, and if it is not already enclosed in a CLEAN window, adds a new CLEAN window centered upon it. The added window has the dimensions of the rectangular area that just encloses the ellipse of the CLEAN beam last estimated by the 'invert' command, scaled by the optional 'size' argument. SIDE EFFECTS ------------ If the residual map and/or beam is not up to date when this function is called, the 'invert' command will be invoked.
