discard_selected Delete all components outside (or inside) the current clean windows. EXAMPLE ------- 0>winmod The latest clean model now contains 31 of the original 92 components. The established clean model now contains 65 of the original 72 components. 0> PARAMETERS ---------- discard_selected - (Default=false) If false then discard all model points outside the current clean windows. If true then discard all model points inside the current clean windows. CONTEXT ------- This command is intended for the situation where one finds that the choice of clean windows in a previous clean allowed model components to be placed in suspect positions. Running this command allows one to constrain the model components to lie within the latest estimate of the clean windows. You should beware of the fact that the components so deleted may have had effects on the flux within the windows, so run mapplot again after calling this command to see how the deleted parts of the model effected the residual map and be prepared to continue cleaning a bit further. SIDE EFFECTS ------------ Use of this function will cause the next command that requires the residual map, to re-invert it. RELATED COMMANDS ---------------- mapplot - Use this to look at the model components as well as the map.
