        MOMENTS

    This task extracts the first 3 moments of an image, e.g. for a LMV cube,
    the  integrated intensity, mean velocity and line width. A threshold for
    detection can be specified. Velocity smoothing before detection  can  be
    applied.

    The name of the input LMV cube.
2 OUT$
        MOMENTS:  OUT$

    The generic name of the output images.
2 VELOCITY$
        MOMENTS:  VELOCITY$[2]

    The velocity range over which the moments should be computed.

2 THRESHOLD$
        MOMENTS:  THRESHOLD$

    The minimum intensity under which a pixel should no longer be considered
    in the moments.

2 SMOOTH$
        MOMENTS:  SMOOTH$

    A logical indicating whether smoothing in velocity should  be  performed
    before thresholding.
