The purpose of the IDL library IDLDOC is to hold routines
  routines related to the maintenance of the other IDL libraries.
  The main routine in this library is LIBR.  Also of interest is
  the shell script LINER which is intended to be personally
  customized for each user to search their own specified libraries.
