After pressing one of the push buttons, the starting line (see help of "Ident..." button) is plotted preserving the original cuts of the image. Using "Begin" you start the identification process erasing any previous identification; Using "Continue" you can add identifications. "Delete" allows you to remove identifications. You can also manipulate the spectrum (cut it, unzoom it, shift it) using the "Frame" pulldown menu. In order to do that, you have to press a push button, then exit with the middle mouse button, do the desired "Frame" action and finally go back to the push button. ~IDENT_BEGIN Start line identification. The starting line (see help of "Ident..." button) is plotted preserving the original cuts of the image. The lines found by the search procedure are marked. The graphics cursor must be used. Click at the position of the line to be identified. The wavelength may is assigned by clicking in the LONG window at the appropriate position. Repeat for as many lines as needed. Exit with the middle mouse button. ~IDENT_CONTINUE Add more identifications. Notice the "begin" erases all previous identifications. ~IDENT_DELETE Delete existent identifications.
