Parameter SCAN is used by many commands to ignore outside parts of the spectra (order definition, background). It is normally set when starting an echelle session. The keyword SCAN is saved by the command SAVE/ECHELLE. \up\sy Syntax: SCAN/ECHELLE frame [scan-par] \ys\pa frame = input image, in the space pixel-pixel \ap\pa scan-par = scan parameters. Default is NOSCAN. Can be: start, end : limits of the scanned part of the image, in pixel NOSCAN : take 1 and number of rows as default values.
