The ASSIST system supports ``live'' tutorials, recipes, and user notes. Formal tutorials and recipes have been added to the system for different analysis packages. These are displayed as text windows, allowing one to page back and forth through the explanations. The tutorials also contain command buttons that can be used to execute the tasks being described, providing "live" interaction along with the textual explanations. You can also maintain your own informal "recipes" file, consisting of personal notes and recipes. Like the more formal tutorials, a simple ASCII file is used to specify both text and command buttons. The notes will be displayed in the same manner as the formal tutorials, with command buttons that allow direct access to tasks and programs. To learn more about user recipes: @button
