   IDENTIFICATION puts the current date and time followed by @code{str} outside
the upper right hand corner of the plot region.
(Actually, @code{identification} is a macro, which RELOCATEs to a point
above the right-hand axis, and half way between the top axis and the
top of the page, and then writes a string with a PUTLABEL 4.)
Note that the variable 
@code{$data_file} is set to the name of the current data file, and
@code{$date} always expands to the current date and time.
